This is the men's Hoka Mach X running shoe, designed for both regular faster training and race day, with a Pebax plate, rather than carbon fibre plate for extra propulsion.The Mach X has ahigher stack height of39mm/34mm, accompanyingPEBA and EVA foamswith the Pebax plate between. We absolutelylove the fit and feel of this new Hoka running shoe (see our review) due to someextra roomand afantastic upperthat leaves you feeling snug, secure and still with some much needed room.

It is not recommended to train in carbon plate running shoes regularly and therefore the Hoka Mach X fits in perfectly to replace them or for training alongside them. You may have you favourite carbon plate shoe for racing or can easily take the Mach X all the way to race day!
